Program Luleå On Ice in English
The event takes place at Södra Hamnplan, right next to the ice track where you can cheer on the Dutch skaters.
Snow art, reindeer, hot chocolate, lots of companies and associations on site with exciting activities, exhibitions and sales. World-class ice skating competitions, Sea Ice Marathon. food and drinks. 09:00–13:00 Winter Classic. Luleå Hockey is organizing a hockey tournament for the youngest players at the ice rink below the Harbor Crane. Come and watch the stars of tomorrow.

10:00–16:00 Craft and Food Market featuring artisans and food creators from Norrbotten. The market is organized in collaboration with the Craft and Design Center and the Rural Economy and Agricultural Society.

10:00–16:00 Helicopter tour over Luleå! Join a flight with Kallax Flyg and see Luleå from above. Price: adults SEK 550, children SEK 400 (up to 11 years). Please note: flights may be canceled in case of bad weather. Location: On the ice to the left of the crane.
10:00–16:00 Try curling! Come and experience what it’s like to play curling. You’ll find us a bit further out on the ice where we have a test lane set up.
12:00–12:35 Winter Tale. Step into a dark and magical winter story inspired by the Sami legend of Sampo Lappelill, where courage, myth, and the encounter with the mountain king Hiisi determine whether the sun will ever return. Performed by the Culture School’s Artist School and dance students through theatre, dance, and song. Suitable for all ages, free admission. Also performed Saturday February 28 at 1:30 PM and Sunday March 1 at 12:00 PM. Location: by the cottages at Södra Hamnplan.
12:00–15:00 Celebrate with us! Luleå celebrates reaching 80,000 citizens with a cake party by the crane.
12:00–15:00 During Luleå On Ice you can experience the adventure of dog sledding right on the ice in Södra Hamn. Price: children SEK 75, adults SEK 200.
